ITINERARY

WEDNESDAY Day 1: Athens International Airport, Athens City

Arrival at Athens International Airport. Meet our representative and transfer to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay in Athens.

THURSDAY Day 2: Athens Sightseeing Half days

This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contracts that makes Athens such a fascinating city. The guide takes you to see the center of the city, Constitution square (Syntagma Square) the House of Parliament, the Memorial to the Unknown Soldier and the National Library. Driving down Herod Atticus Street, you will see the Evzones in their picturesque uniform and the Presidential Palace. On the way to the Acropolis, you will see the Panatheanic Stadium (where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896) (Short stop) the Temple of the Olympian Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch. At the Acropolis visit its Museum and the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: the Propylae, Temple of Athens Nike, Erechteion and finally, the monument that puts order in the mind, the Parthenon. FRIDAY Day 3: Cruise to Mykonos – Must be boarding on Fridays

Our staff will escort you to Piraeus, the port of Athens, to embark on your three-day cruise. You’ll sail into the Aegean and by sunset, reach the jet-set isle of Mykonos. (B, L, D)

SATURDAY Day 4: Cruise to Kusadası(Turkey), Patmos – Saturday

We anchor at 7 a.m. in Kusadasi, on the Turkish mainland, gateway to Ancient Ephesus. You will join Ancient Ephesus tour for about 3, 5 ours Ephesus, one of the best-preserved Archaeological sites in the World. In the late afternoon, your ship will call at the island of Patmos. (B, L, D)

SUNDAY Day 5: Heraklion (Crete) – Santorini (Cruise) – Sunday

This morning you arrive at Heraklion, the capital of ancient Crete. At noon, your cruise continues to the Santorini, the most spectacular of the Greek Islands, whose town of Thira is perched on a cliff created by volcanic eruption. You will  have panaromic tour at Santorini island. First we head to the picturesque  village of Megalochori where you will have the chance to enjoy the typical architecture of the island. Then the drive continues to the east, in the background, you have settlements like Kamari and Monolithos, while you will pass through Fira, the small traditional villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli with delicate architecture and beauties, to eventually arrive at the settlement of Oia. During the entire route, to the west you will have before your eyes the lace-like caldera, the little islands of Thirasia, Palea and Nea Kameni and an unsurpassable panoramic view. In Oia you will have plenty of time to stroll through the marble-paved alleys, to gaze at the adorably cute shops, to take pictures, to become acquainted with the characteristic buildings, carved into the rocks and the unusual captains’ manors, the settlement Ammoudi at the foot of the caldera… After your curiosity has been sated of the area which is characterized as being of “exceptional natural beauty”, your return begins …(entrance fees not included on panaromic tours) … (B, L, D)

MONDAY Day 6: Athens to Cairo -Monday

You’ll sail into Piraeus early in the morning 06:00 am . Our Athens-based personel will take you to the airport to catch your flight to Cairo, air fare is included in our rate in economy class Athens Cairo, after arriving Cairo our local representative will escort you to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo (B)

TUESDAY Day 7: Giza Sightseeing

Meet in hotel lobby with the tour guide to begin the sightseeing excursion with a visit to Memphis, ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3100 BC which contains the beautiful representation of King Ramses II through his colossal statue. Then proceed to Sakkara to see the world-famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest known of Egypt’s 107 Pyramids. At the Pyramids area, visit the Three Pyramids built for Pharaohs Cheops, Chephren & Mycerinus and the mysterious Sphinx. After tour transfer hotel for overnight. (B, L)

WEDNESDAY Day 8: Cairo- Nile Cruise to Luxor

Today, you will be transferred to Cairo airport for flight to Luxor meet with our representative and transfer to board the Nile Cruise. Embarkation before lunch. (B,L,D)

THURSDAY Day 9: Nile Cruise Aswan Sightseeing to Luxor

Free time in the morning. Afternoon you will meet with your guide and depart to visit the Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. Stay overnight in Luxor. (B, L, D)

FRIDAY Day 10: Nile Cruise Esna, Luxor & West Bank

Sail to Esna and Luxor. Move to West Bank of the Nile to visith the Valley of Kings & Queens, Colossi of Memnon and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Return back to the Cruise. Evevning at leisure. Overnight onboard cruise (B, L, D)

SATURDAY Day 11: Edfu Kom Ombo- Aswan

Cruise sail to Edfu. On arrival visit the Temple of Horus, the largest and most complete preserved Temple combining Pharaonic and Greek architectures. The cruise sails to Kom Ombo & upon arrival visit The Temple of Sobek & Haroeris, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the river bank. Return to the cruise & Overnight onboard cruise. (B, L, D)

SUNDAY Day 12: Aswan- Cairo

After breakfast disembark the cruise. Visit the high Dam, Philae Temple. Explore Elephantine island on felucca. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Cairo. (B,L)

MONDAY Day 13: Departure

Breakfast, check-out and per your international flight departure time meet for transfer to Cairo Airport. (B)
