Day 1: Arrival

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy welcome dinner at traditional local restaurant. Overnight stay in selected hotel.


Day 2: Istanbul Full Day Tour

Breakfast at hotel and begin full day sightseeing tour of Istanbul. We will visit Topkapi Palace (harem section is optional), ancient Roman Hippodrome (center of the chariot races) and proceed to the Hagia Sophia, the Byzantine church which was converted to a mosque in 15th century. We will continue our Sultanahmet tour with the Blue Mosque and finally we will stop at Grand Covered Bazaar and will have free time to discover 4000 tiny shops in the passageways of the world’s largest covered bazaar. Day 3: Bosphorus Cruise, Half Day

Through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residential and luxurious apartments, Rumeli Fortress, Historical armament built by the Conqueror to control and protect Bosphorus is A unique example of military architecture. Overnight stay in Istanbul. (B)


Day 4: Ancient Ephesus

Early morning transfer to Istanbul Ataturk airport. Take flight to Izmir. Arrival in Izmir international airport and meeting at the exit gate. Drive to visit Ephesus. Ephesus ruins the best-preserved ancient site in the World which extends into the third millennium B.C the remains of this important city are standing miraculously today, vivid witnesses of a glorious past. Among the well-preserved ruins the theatre, Celsius Library, Agora, Odeon, Domitian’s Temple, Trajan Fountain, Roman Latrine are the most, Temple of Artemis (One of the seven ancient wonders of the world) Shopping For leather and Turkish Handmade Carpets. Day 5: Kusadasi Pamukkale

After breakfast, we depart for Pamukkale, a short break on the way; View the geographical phenomenon of the unique white calcium waterfall; Lunch break; Hierapolis, an ancient health spa with the largest necropolis (cemetery) in the Asia Minor; Impressive ruins & splendid theatre. Overnight stay in Pamukkale. (B, L, D)


Day 6: Pamukkale, Konya, Cappadocia

Departing from Pamukkale to Cappadocia through Konya, visit the Mevlana Mausoleum, the great mystic poet and Islamic spiritual leader who found the sect of ”Whirling Dervishes” and visit 13th century Seljuk caravanserai “Sultanhan” in Konya. Drive to the hotel in Cappadocia. (B, L)


Day 7: Cappadocia

Our first real encounter with Cappadocia almost Martian landscape is in the Dervent valley. We visit Pasabag’s “fairy chimneys” where the voice of the wind harmonizes with songs of the fairies. From here we pause at Avanos center of terracotta art. After lunch we visit the famous Goreme Open Air Museum to see the best examples of Byzantine art in Cappadocia. We complete the tour with a visit to the Uchisar Rock-Castle, giving you a panoramic view of the valleys of Cappadocia. Overnight stay in Cappadocia. (B, L)


Day 8: Cappadocia

Depart from your hotel and explore the famous rock- cut churches and hike 5 km through the Gulludere valley. Then visit Cavusin Village. After lunch drive to the Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon, visit Underground City, where early Christians lived in fear and faith, which is one of the most interesting underground settlements in Cappadocia. The underground city was originally carved out as eight floors; however four floors are available to visit. In wartime about 5000 people can refuge in. The tunnels are still used storage areas, stables and cellars. On the way back, visit the natural castles at Ortahisar. Take flight to Istanbul for overnight stay. (B, L)


Day 9: Istanbul

Free time till transfer to airport or Istanbul extension
