THURSDAY Day 1: Istanbul

Arrival in Istanbul, the city that bridges two continents, “Europe” and “Asia”. You will be met at the airport, assistance and transfer to the hotel. There you will have a briefing and welcome cocktail. Overnight in Istanbul.


FRIDAY Day 2: Istanbul: Byzantine and Ottoman Relics Tour

Breakfast at hotel and begin full day sightseeing tour of Istanbul. We’ll visit Topkapi Palace (harem section is optional), ancient Roman Hippodrome (center of the chariot races) and proceed to the Hagia Sophia, the Byzantine church which was converted to a mosque in 15th century. We will continue our Sultanahmet tour with the Blue Mosque and finally we will stop at Grand Covered Bazaar and will have free time to discover 4000 tiny shops in the passageways of the world’s largest covered bazaar. SATURDAY Day 3: Bosphorus Cruise, Half Day

Through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residential and luxurious apartments, Rumeli Fortress, Historical armament built by the Conqueror to control and protect Bosphorus. SUNDAY Day 4: Istanbul Ephesus Kusadasi

Takes morning flight to Izmir airport to visit Ephesus. Arrival in Izmir international airport and meeting at the exit gate Drive to visit House of Mother Mary On top of the mount of the Nightingale. Here the Blessed Virgin is said to have lived her last years on earth. Then Temple of Artemis. It was one of the seven ancient Wonders of the World. Ephesus ruins the best preserved ancient site in the World, Which extends in to the third millennium B.C the remains of this important city are standing miraculously today, vivid witnesses of a glorious past. Among the well preserved ruins the theatre, Celsius Library, Agora, Odeon, Domitian’s Temple, Trajan Fountain, Roman Latrine are the most remarkable. MONDAY Day 5: Kusadasi Pamukkale

After breakfast we depart for Pamukkale, a short break on the way; View the geographical phenomenon of the unique white calcium waterfall; Lunch break; Hierapolis, an ancient health spa with the largest necropolis (cemetery) in the Asia Minor; Impressive ruins & splendid theatre. Drive back to Kusadasi for overnight stay in… (B, L, D)


TUESDAY Day 6: Kusadasi – Patmos (cruise)

Morning at leisure for shopping in Kusadasi. Around noon transfer to the Kusadasi port to embark on the cruise ship. Cruise to Patmos, the tiny, rocky island where the exiled St. John the Divine received the Revelation which forms the last book of the New Testament. Optional tour of the 11th century monastery of St. John is available. Tonight you will sail to Rhodes. Dinner and overnight on board. (B, L, D)


WEDNESDAY Day 7: Rhodes (Cruise)

Morning arrival at Rhodes, the island of Roses and site of the ancient Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Here you will take a tour to Lindos. It is  is situated 55 km (40 miles) from the city of Rhodes and “bears” above it the Acropolis of Lindos, with the ancient Temple of Athena, built in 300 B.C. Here and there you will come across the captains’ mansions, built between the 16th and 18th century. In the centre of the village lives and breathes the Church of the Virgin Mary (Panagia) of Lindos, with frescoes from the 15th century.  Ascend to the Acropolis of Lindos. Here lies the Temple of Athena, of Doric order, which was erected on the location of an older monument. The ancient city-state of Lindos was for many centuries the most important on the island. It reached its heyday in the 6th century B.C. At the old city of Rhodes you will go through D’Amboise Gate to walk on the Street of the Knights. Along this street you will find the residences of the Knights, separated according to Order, which bear until today their corresponding crests.(B, L, D)


THURSDAY Day 8: Heraklion (Crete) – Santorini (Cruise)

Morning arrival at Heraklion, the capital of Crete. A few miles away is the Palace of Knossos, discovered by Sir Arthur Evans in 1899, center of the famed Minoan civilization and one of the most important archaeological sites in the world. Noon sail to Santorini the most spectacular of the Greek Islands. you will join the tour in Santorini. First you head up to Megalochori village, one of the most authentic and unspoiled villages of the island with its distinctive architecture and character. We will continue on to the east, in the background, you will have settlements like Kamari and Monolithos, while you will pass through Fira, the small traditional villages of Firostefani and Imerovigli with delicate architecture and beauties, to eventually arrive at the settlement of Oia. During the entire route, to the west you will have before your eyes the lace-like caldera, the little islands of Thirasia, Palea and Nea Kameni and an unsurpassable panoramic view. In Oia you will have plenty of time to stroll through the marble-paved alleys, to gaze at the adorably cute shops, to take pictures, to become acquainted with the characteristic buildings, carved into the rocks and the unusual captains’ manors, the settlement Ammoudi at the foot of the caldera… After your curiosity has been sated of the area which is characterized as being of “exceptional natural beauty”, your return begins . FRIDAY Day 9: Athens Arrival

Disembarkation after breakfast at Piraeus port and transfer to the hotel B. free afternoon.


SATURDAY Day 10: Athens Acropolis Half day tour

At 8 a.m., enjoy a tour of Athens, combining many of the cities principal modern and classical sights. This tour includes an overview of the modern city and striking contrasts to the remains of its glorious past. Drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square, the Panathenian Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896). See the Presidential Palace (ex Royal Palace), government buildings and elegant homes. Drive along Panepistimiou Avenue and see the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, National Library and Omonia Square. In contrast, we visit the Roman Temple of Olympian Zeus and the crowning beauty and glory that were Athens, the Acropolis with its many monuments atop its rocky base, including the awesome Parthenon, the Propylae, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechteion with its Porch of Maidens. We also visit the Acropolis Museum. Return to hotel at noon. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight. (B)


SUNDAY Day 11: Fullday Delphi Tour

Drive through the fertile plain of Boetia, crossing the towns of Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oepidus, Levadia and Arachova. Arrive at Delphi, the center of the Ancient World. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the museum. Lunch in the village of Delphi. Return to Athens early evening (B, L)


MONDAY Day 12: Athens to Cairo

Arrival to Cairo Airport and meet for transfer on to the hotel. Rest of the day is then at leisure (as per your flight arrival time). Overnight in Cairo. (B)


TUESDAY Day 13: Giza Sightseeing

Meet in hotel lobby with the tour guide to begin the sightseeing excursion with a visit to Memphis, ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3100 BC which contains the beautiful representation of King Ramses II through his colossal statue. Then proceed to Sakkara to see the world-famous Step Pyramid of King Zoser, the oldest known of Egypt’s 107 Pyramids. At the Pyramids area, visit the Three Pyramids built for Pharaohs Cheops, Chephren & Mycerinus and the mysterious Sphinx. After tour transfer to hotel. (B, L)


WEDNESDAY Day 14: Nile Cruise to Luxor

Today, you will be transferred to Cairo airport for flight to Luxor meet with our representative and transfer to board the Nile Cruise. Embarkation before lunch. (B,L,D)


THURSDAY Day 15: Luxor

Free time in the morning. Afternoon you will meet with your guide and depart to visit the Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple. Stay overnight in Luxor. (B,L,D)


FRIDAY Day 16: Nile Cruise Esna, Luxor & West Bank

Sail to Esna and Luxor. Move to West Bank of the Nile to visit the Valley of Kings & Queens, Colossi of Memnon and Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Return back to the Cruise. Evevning at leisure. Overnight onboard cruise (B, L, D)


SATURDAY Day 17: Edfu- Kom Ombo Aswan

Cruise sail to Edfu. On arrival visit the Temple of Horus, the largest and most complete preserved Temple combining Pharaonic and Greek architectures. The cruise sails to Kom Ombo & upon arrival visit The Temple of Sobek & Haroeris, dedicated to the crocodile-god Sobek. The temple stands at a bend in the Nile where in ancient times sacred crocodiles basked in the sun on the river bank. Return to the cruise & Overnight onboard cruise. (B, L, D)


SUNDAY Day 18: Aswan- Cairo

After breakfast disembark the cruise. Visit the high Dam, Philae Temple. Explore Elephantine island on felucca. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival meet and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Cairo. (B,L)


MONDAY Day 19: Departure
