Your first stop is the St. John Basilica, a sacred site honoring the apostle John, followed by a visit to the Last Abode of the Virgin Mary at Mount Solmissos, where it's believed she spent her final days.
Next, explore the ancient Greco-Roman city of Ephesus, a pivotal location in early Christianity and the most significant of the Seven Churches of Asia Minor. It was here that St. John brought Mary, fulfilling his promise to Jesus to protect her, and where she is believed to have been assumed into heaven.

As the day progresses, enjoy a leisurely lunch before continuing your pilgrimage to the ancient city and ruins of the famous church of Sardis, the former Lydian capital. Delve into the remnants of the church of Thyatira before setting off for Pergamon, where you'll spend the night.
